Local Love

One Village Coffee

One Village Coffee from Souderton, Pa. has deep roots in the Fair Trade movement.

“When we visited Africa and Honduras in the early 2000s, we saw the power of a village – a community of people working together to better themselves and those around them. Coffee, which is deeply tied to the earth and has amazing powers to connect people, quickly became a way for us to create our own village. Thus, One Village Coffee was born.  Our mission since 2007 has been to connect growers, roasters (us), and you (the faithful coffee drinker) through our quality coffee and commitment to stewardship.”

Here at Organnons, we love One Village’s mission…not to mention their artisan-brewed coffee.

Our Story

Our Story 1

Jim & Danielle Gannon, Co-Founders of Organnons Natural Market

Way back in 2007, we would drive all over to gather our weekly organic food. After picking up produce at a CSA in New Jersey, we’d journey on to Whole Foods, Wegmans, and Trader Joe’s. We often asked ourselves why there were no organic options closer to home.

In 2011, we became proud parents to a baby girl and named her Abigail. Our health and the health of our newborn became the ultimate priority, especially for a breastfeeding mama.

After selling our limousine business in 2012, we were presented with an opportunity to do something that would align with our values and lifestyle. Sure enough, through fate and a turn of events, we found a vacant spot at Carousel Village! We signed an agreement to occupy the space and turn it into an organic market. Our second baby, Gabriel, was so excited about the new store that he came into the world a few days later!
